Set up your Forest SEO account and publish your first AI-generated article in under 10 minutes with this step-by-step guide.

This guide walks you through the complete setup process—from account creation to publishing your first AI-generated article. The entire process takes approximately 10 minutes.

No website yet? You can complete most of this guide without a connected website. Content can be generated and stored, then published once you connect an integration.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Navigate to /auth/register
  2. Choose your registration method:
    • Email/Password — Enter your email and create a secure password
    • Google OAuth — Click "Continue with Google" for streamlined signup
  3. Verify your email by clicking the confirmation link
  4. Complete the onboarding wizard

Your account is now active and ready for configuration.

Step 2: Create Your First Project

Projects are the organizational foundation of Forest SEO. Each project typically represents one website or content strategy.

  1. From the dashboard, click "Create Project"
